Channelnomics 2011 Influencers Awards: Part 2
What defines an influencer? It’s not always reserved for those at large businesses or with big titles. Rather, influence comes from the ability to sway people and strategic thinking. Influence comes from contribution, effort and achievement.
These are the qualities shared by today’s winners in the Channelnomics 2011 Influencer Awards. Each of the winners in these four categories – Distribution, Europe, Voice/Data Network and Channel Business – did not achieve their level of influence through position. Rather, they earned it through deeds, initiative and results.
These award winners join the group announced yesterday in the categories of Storage, Channel Associations and Groups, and Mobility: (Check out: Award Winners – Part 1).
Channelnomics will continue to announce award winners through January 9.

I had my most succesful working period working in Ians team and its no surprise that hes been given this award. He influences in a highly positive manner not only his staff, but his partners and their customers as well as others in the industry. Well deserved.
Ian is a driven man, he knows what he is talking about and works relentlessly towards acheivement – he is an asset to any company he works for. Indeed, very well deserved!!
Congrats Ian, well deserved. Having worked with Ian for a number of years I know how passionate he is about creating and delivering world-class channel strategy.
Congratulations Ian, as other commenter’s are saying truly well deserved. You are a unique man who works all hours on the things he believes in, and a mentor extraordinaire to so many as well as being an inspiring businessman.
Well done Ian!
Thanks for the continuous support and sharing of insights throughout. Pleasure working with you and look forward to your support on our new endeavours.
This recognition of Ian is well-deserved! I’ve known Ian (and worked with him) for three years: he is THE Channel promotor, advocate etc. He totally believes in the Channel. He works with drive, energy and vision — and inpsires those around him of the rightness of his approach. Great guy!
Well Shock! Horror! Is anyone REALLY surprised by this well deserved award to Ian for his unstinting support of the channel and especially for Cloud Services over the last 6 years plus.
When one is as omniscient as Ian, one really is bound to be omnipotent also. I wish him lots of success in his next role and the future – he doesn’t need luck, he makes his own.
Well done to Ian Moyse, very well deserved
Having partnered with Ian at several companies now this is not a surprise and well deserved. He and the teams he drives always go the extra mile and show how a channel should be run. Well done Ian.
