15 Friendly Foreign Tech Companies

A report by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence labeled China-based Huawei Technologies Inc. and ZTE Inc. as threats to U.S. security and economic interests. The report has unleashed a wave of speculation about the two companies, causing many solution providers to rethink their relationships with foreign vendors. In reality, the channel not only works with many non-U.S. companies, but embraces foreign vendor partners as a source of innovation and profitability.

Channelnomics takes a look at 15 top foreign vendors with whom the U.S. channel and tech market enjoys strong, profitable and trusted relationships. These vendors show that foreign companies are as good for business as their American counterparts.

    Interesting article, though I got a sense of CRN form factor deja vu as I was going through it. A number of security companies are represented, as well as PC/laptop manufacturers. None seem to be China based, though APAC is well represented. Definitely channel friendly companies. I don’t see any of these companies being on a list to be investigated by the US government. In looking at the list, more than a handful probably have lobbyists in Washington.
