Kaspersky Lab ZAO is the darling of the global channel. Over the last decade, the Russia-based company has built tight ties with resellers in the U.S., who are steadily building market share at the expense of Symantec and McAfee.

Interesting article, though I got a sense of CRN form factor deja vu as I was going through it. A number of security companies are represented, as well as PC/laptop manufacturers. None seem to be China based, though APAC is well represented. Definitely channel friendly companies. I don’t see any of these companies being on a list to be investigated by the US government. In looking at the list, more than a handful probably have lobbyists in Washington.
