New Avaya OneCloud ReadyNow model gives partners and customers easier transition to cloud-based UCaaS
Avaya continues its push to simplify the transition from legacy on-premises telephony and unified communications systems to cloud-based services through a new private cloud delivery model.
The Lowdown: Unveiled at its latest user event, Avaya Engage 2019, the Avaya OneCloud ReadyNow delivery model provides enterprises and customers a simplified means for choosing UCaaS and contact center services under its Avaya OneCloud solution. The approach, Avaya says, takes the guesswork out of product and capacity selection, and gets systems up and running faster.
The Details: Avaya OneCloud ReadyNow is part of Avaya’s Intelligence Xperience framework, a new naming and solution architecture convention that better rationalizes the value propositions and adjacencies of complementary UCaaS products.
The Impact: Through Avaya OneCloud ReadyNow, users select preconfigured systems aligned with per-seat consumption pricing for UCaaS and contact center services. Avaya says the model makes it easier and faster for partners and enterprise customers to select the right service with less risk, cost, and complexity.
Background: Avaya is pushing its cloud-based unified communications to partners and customers, as well as working to simplify purchasing and delivery. Earlier this month, Avaya enahanced the program and incentives of its Avaya Edge channel program to better support the diversity of partners selling and supporting UCaaS. In December 2018, Avaya launched an online marketplace to make the selection and purchasing of cloud services simpler.
The Buzz: “As a top Avaya partner for more than two decades, we’ve seen the company evolve from voice communications to a robust cloud solutions provider, helping clients achieve high levels of flexibility, scalability, and security for a variety of their needs,” said Steven Bernard, vice president of Avaya sales at systems integrator Carousel Industries. “We’re excited to see Avaya will now provide our UC and contact center clients with cloud-based bundles for even greater efficiency, as well as the ability to design an environment that supports their desired scalability and consumption needs.”
