Endpoint management vendor debuts North American partner program, new distribution pact
Multi-platform endpoint management vendor FileWave has introduced a new program for North American partners along with a fresh distribution arrangement with Synnex in a push to get its solutions for Mac, Windows, and mobile environments on the menus of a more focused cadre of resellers.
The Lowdown: The new FileWave program allows resellers to sign on in different tiers based on sales volume, geographies, and vertical markets, officials said. FileWave officials said last week they hope their new channel program will convince prospective partners that the vendor’s competitive pricing can help them grow their businesses with services targeting clients with mixed device and platform environments.
The Details: With offices in Switzerland and Indianapolis, FileWave competes mainly with MDM players such as MobileIron, AirWatch, and Absolute Software. The new FileWave North American channel program gives partners access to enablement tools and features including:
>Access to FileWave’s partner portal with a collection of sales tools and online training
>Pricing protection in designated markets
>A multi-tier program structure designed to help partners maximize revenue and profit margins
>Assigned FileWave partner liaison representatives on hand to address partner and end-user questions
The Buzz: “We grow our business, and build trust, by serving customers’ needs,” said Lee Prince, vice president of sales at IT service provider Virtucom in Norcross, Georgia, one of the first partners to sign on with the new program. “FileWave solves some of the biggest challenges our customers face.”
“People work with known players they can trust, so we wanted to create a channel program that was built on equity and availability for all partners,” said Chris Russo, vice president of North American sales at FileWave.
“This is just one of the many initiatives we’re kicking off in 2019,” said FileWave CEO Nurdan Eris. “We’re looking forward to expanding the availability of FileWave while we continue to develop even more advanced product innovations.”
