The Details: The consolidation of partner sites typically isn’t a big deal, but the HP merger of the HP Sales Central and Partner First portals is the foundation of several enhancements to programs and resources.
HP will launch the new HP Integrated Financial Solutions to simplify financing of customer sales. The new financing options include mobile applications and automated document management to simplify and expedite credit applications.
The new portal, placed under HP Sales Central, includes new marketing automation tools, chatbots offering answers to product and service questions, access to technical information through the WISE for Channel platform, sales enablement, and gamification tools that encourage partners to unlock rewards and resources by completing tasks and investing in the HP relationship.
The Impact: The unified partner portal and financial services will go live in April. The new portal and resources should simplify the ordering and purchasing process, and stimulate service-led partner sales.
