Aim to accelerate global adoption of AI-driven workplace transformation through automation of manual processes
New York-based WorkFusion, a provider of intelligent automation and RPA software, is partnering with NEC Corp. to improve worker productivity in every vertical and region around the world.
The Lowdown: The initiative is being kicked off initially in Japan, where the government is looking to enact legislation aimed at reforming labor laws and workplace processes to address the needs of a highly skilled workforce.
The Details: By automating manual and repetitive tasks, that workforce can focus on value-added tasks and projects.
Already, WorkFusion has collaborated with NEC Management Partner (NMP), NEC’s shared services organization, to develop expert cognitive bots that address specific accounting and finance processes unique to Japan. They used WorkFusion Intelligent Automation Cloud software to implement business tasks, enabling the software’s machine learning to become familiar with a wider range of those tasks and then carry them out independently. As a result, workers were more productive and could focus more on customer service.
Under the partnership arrangement, NEC will resell WorkFusion solutions to organizations and provide them with services and support related to their workplace transformations.
Background: To deliver its products, WorkFusion works with a number of partners, many of them large systems integrators and consultancies such as Accenture, Capgemini, PwC, and Wipro, and offers training to those partners in machine learning and RPA development.
The Buzz: “We designed our platform with intelligence and analytics at the core, which allows businesses to overcome the challenges faced not only with manual repetitive work but with legacy RPA technologies, and deliver true business value,” said Alex Lyashok, CEO of WorkFusion. “We’re thrilled to work hand in hand with NEC to help businesses in Japan and throughout the world experience the transformative power of AI-driven RPA as they work to adapt to a changing workforce.”
“WorkFusion is uniquely qualified to address the automation needs of customers with its AI-driven RPA technology,” said Kazunori Sudo, senior vice president of the AI Platform Division at NEC. “WorkFusion has established itself as the gold standard in the industry, and we’re excited about working together to help customers experience the next evolution in automation and intelligence.”
