Canadian vendor goes all-in on channel in North America with global aspirations by year’s end
Titus, the Ottawa, Ontario-based maker of data classification and loss prevention solutions, this week launched a new partner program and committed to a 100% channel approach for North American sales.
The Lowdown: The new two-tier program is aimed at security-focused partners selling cloud access security brokers (CASBs), data loss prevention (DLP) solutions, and next-generation firewalls (NGFWs). Top-level partners get discounts on products and 30 points of protection for registered opportunities; average partners can expect around 20 points of margin, officials said.
The Details: Other Titus partner program features include:
• A self-paced certification program with eight sales training modules and two technical modules for systems consultants
• A revamped portal to manage deal registration and get access to production information, training materials, and other enablement content
While the program covers just Titus resellers in North America for now, the company expects to expand its 100% channel model worldwide by the end of 2019, officials added.
The Buzz: “Our new partner program offers a quick and easy way to arm our partners with the right skills to sell and deploy data protection solutions from Titus, as well as a path to generate revenue from additional software and services,” said Mike Kuehn, Chief Revenue Officer at Titus. “This is just the beginning. We will continue to make strategic investments in the tools and resources needed to achieve a partner program that not only attracts, enables, and retains partners, but offers them ways to both grow their business and help their customers accelerate the adoption of a data protection strategy that works for them.”
“Our customers look to us as a trusted advisor who can help them choose the most effective security and data protection solutions for their business,” said Noemi Lamanna, sales director at HANDD Business Solutions. “Being a Titus partner will enable us to significantly grow our business with enterprises that demand best-in-class security solutions.”
