Live Enterprise Suite aims to help organizations embrace digital tools
Business and IT consulting firm Infosys is aiming to help organizations accelerate the transformation of their businesses with a multifaceted collection of solutions and services called the Live Enterprise Suite.
The Lowdown: The various offerings, announced this week, are available via Infosys’ online Service Store and are designed to improve a business’ processes, systems, management capabilities, and experience for customers, partners, and employees. It’s all with an eye toward making enterprises faster and more efficient through the adoption of digital processes.
The Details: The Live Enterprise Suite brings together a wide range of capabilities aimed at different areas of an organization’s business. Included among the offerings are:
> Launchpad app: for paperless onboarding of new employees
> Employee productivity platform: to make services, contacts, and information more easily accessible
> Infosys Wingspan: a learning tool to enable employees to develop new talents to address future company needs
> Knowledge Graph: for mapping information from all transactions – among employees, customers, partners, networks, and devices – in near real time and contextualizing the information for users
> Infosys Digital Brain: for curating organizational knowledge and information
> Infosys Polycloud Platform: for creating a common interface for public and private clouds and a catalog for selecting, provisioning, and managing platform and application services and workloads across an enterprise
The Impact: Infosys designed the suite of offerings to be integrated into a business’ IT landscape and used across multiple industries and throughout a corporation, touching on everything from human resources, finance, and sales to marketing and legal departments.
Background: The company has been using the Live Enterprise Suite internally since April, with more than 30,000 employees being onboarded through the Launchpad app and more than 200,000 using the learning platform. According to Infosys, using the suite has reduced project setup 12-fold, made more than 100 employee applications available via three mobile apps, driven more than 12 million transactions, and reduced the number of help tickets by 80%.
The Buzz: “For enterprises, the journey to digital transformation is a complex one. With Live Enterprise Suite, Infosys is providing a structured brownfield approach to digital transformation programs. Live Enterprise focuses on process re-engineering, UX [user experience], and making use of existing digital technologies,” said Dominique Raviart, IT services research manager at NelsonHall. “Infosys has internally adopted its Live Enterprise Suite as part of its transformation journey, and realized benefits in its workforce productivity and UX.”
“Over the past several quarters, we have embarked on a transformational journey to reinvent the way we do business. While focusing on delivering the best digital technologies to clients, we have diligently been using those very same capabilities to accelerate productivity for our employees by providing them with seamless user experiences and learning platforms,” said Infosys CEO Pravin Rao. “As we take these platforms, solutions, and services to customers, through the Live Enterprise Suite, we will provide them with agility, increased productivity, and zero-latency in process, driving hyperproductivity and continuous learning.”
