The company’s NTX solution focuses on security at the DNS level
Nominet, a cybersecurity solution vendor based in Oxford, England, that expanded into North America less than a year ago, is launching a partner program to accelerate growth in its network detection and response solution.
The Lowdown: The Velocity partner program will support Nominet’s NTX solution and give channel players tools that enable their customers to leverage the DNS (Domain Name System) layer of the network to identify and block cyberthreats.
The Details: The new program is a way to formalize and expand the relationships Nominet has had with partners in the past. It includes a new portal though which partners like VARs, managed security service providers (MSSPs), and systems integrators will have access to rewards, rebates, additional incentives, and support.
The Velocity program includes three tiers:
>Tier 1 Power: Partners that have been through technical engineering and sales training will receive the most significant rebates and discounts and have access to co-marketing funds.
>Tier 2 Accelerate: The second tier is for partners that have participated in sales training from Nominet and can authoritatively talk about NTX and work with technical distributors or the Nominet technical team.
>Tier 3 Motion: Entry-level partners that plan to move up Nominet’s tier structure will receive training and support from the vendor.
The Impact: The partner program is designed to give partners the opportunity to address an area of security that has been largely unaddressed by the channel: using the DNS layer to identify and block threats. According to Nominet, 97% of CISOs say that security at the DNS level is key or critical.
The Buzz: “We’ve worked with Nominet for a number of years and will benefit immensely from the formalized new Velocity partner program,” said Dave Rawle, CTO at Bytes Security Partnerships. “We’ve had an exceptionally collaborative and successful relationship to date, and the new training and incentives will only enhance that. By creating a process that can be replicated and maximized for other organizations, the true value of the new Velocity partner program will be felt.”
“We’re looking forward to the new Velocity partner program from Nominet,” said Rick Steele, head of cybersecurity sales at Satisnet. “Our engagement to date has been extremely positive and professional, with NTX able to alleviate many security concerns currently keeping CISOs awake at night. As NTX evolves, the partner program will be extremely useful in keeping us up to date and ensuring we can generate maximum results from the network detection and response opportunity.”
