Master Agent

The distributor of the telecom channel; a master agent holds contracts with multiple telecom carriers and cable companies, and acts as an agent for independent agents (subagents). Master agents provide pricing and process orders on behalf of agents, and they often will broker reciprocal relationships with other master agents for access to carriers with which they have no contracts. Master agents support VAR, MSPs, and systems integrators. Increasingly, master agents are providing access to cloud services.
