New position to drive efficacy and boost client experience
PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y., Jan. 12, 2021 – Channelnomics, the leading provider of business strategy and research for improving the performance of companies’ direct and indirect channels, has announced the appointment of Sheila Mullen as senior director of project management. In that role, Mullen will be responsible for implementing a project management and business operations framework, with the goal of enhancing operational efficiency and improving the client experience as a result. Mullen’s hire reinforces Channelnomics’ mission to champion diversity in the channel. With her extensive skills and experience, Mullen will serve as a model for channel organizations and help guide Channelnomics’ diversity initiatives going forward. “With a wealth of project management experience across various industries, Sheila Mullen will be a change agent for Channelnomics, ” said Lawrence M. Walsh, CEO and chief analyst at Channelnomics. “Her joining the Channelnomics team will allow us to optimize our efficiency and effectiveness, propelling us to new heights so we can serve more clients and provide the best client experience in our industry.” A seasoned project manager and operations thought leader, Mullen was most recently senior project management consultant at Channel Impact, which served clients such as Cisco, Electronic Arts, and Riverbed Technology. She has worked in a diverse array of vertical markets – in finance, health care, technology, and even in a logistics capacity with the federal government – and in multiple areas, including change management, learning and development, corporate planning, and inclusion and diversity. Mullen also has broad experience in training, employee talent development, and mentorship. “I’m so excited to join Channelnomics, ” said Mullen. “I look forward to building an agile infrastructure that leverages existing talent, expands internal capabilities, and infuses the efficacy needed to deliver impactful customer experiences.” Mullen earned her master’s degree in project management at Western Carolina University and her bachelor’s in business administration at the University of Dayton. A Project Management Professional (PMP) for 10-plus years, Mullen previously held certifications as a Certified ScrumMaster®, Smartsheet Product Certified User, and Smartsheet Solution Certified User.
