The 2112 Group Appoints Alex Hart Senior Vice President of Strategy Services
Channel veteran, formerly of Verizon Enterprise, VMware, and Symantec, will oversee the expansion of the strategy company’s professional services
PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y., June 4, 2018 – The 2112 Group, the leading global provider of go-to-market research and strategy services to technology companies, announced the appointment of channel veteran Alex Hart as senior vice president of strategy services.
Hart is a well-known and highly respected channel executive, having led channel programs and sales at several major technology vendors. In his new role, Hart will oversee the expansion of 2112’s market-leading go-to-market strategy services, which enable technology companies around the world to leverage new business models and channels to increase indirect revenue.

Hart most recently served as the managing director of public-sector channels and alliances at Verizon Enterprise Solutions. Previously, he served as senior director of strategic programs in the global partner organization and senior director of sales for U.S. public-sector channels at VMware. And for many years, he was the director of public-sector channel sales at Symantec.
