The 2112 Group Becomes a Corporate Member of The Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals (ASAP)
Expanded partnership provides ASAP members with access to additional channel-focused resources, programs, and research
PORT WASHINGTON, NY – Dec. 1, 2015 – The 2112 Group, the leader in channel strategy and partner enablement, has announced its corporate member status in The Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals (ASAP), which is the community of choice for alliance, collaboration, and partnering professionals because of the tools, education, and networking it makes available to its members.
“As a part of ASAP’s ongoing channel initiative, and thanks to an introduction made by Dede Haas, founder of DLH Services, a content-sharing partnership with The 2112 Group began in October 2014,” said Diana L. Mirakaj, president and COO of The 2112 Group. “Building upon that foundation, our decision to become a corporate member was a natural fit for many reasons. Similar to the dynamics we see in the channel, many strategic partnerships fall short of achieving their intended objectives because stakeholders – partners – fail to dedicate the resources, commitment, and time needed to drive meaningful impact.
“Achieving success with joint go-to-market strategies, product development, or sales collaboration is hard work. It takes time and investment,” added Mirakaj. “We recognized the synergies and felt that offering a targeted approach to partner profiling, a focus on profitability, and implementation of repeatable best practices would drive value and business outcomes for ASAP members. While those benefits may not happen overnight, they will result from consistent execution.”
In addition to being a corporate member, 2112 is also part of the ASAP Education Provider Partner Program (EPPP). For more information about the EPPP, or about the courses offered by 2112, contact Jennifer Silver.
“ASAP is very pleased to have The 2112 Group as a new corporate member. 2112, the channel experts who advise many ASAP members’ companies, have a unique opportunity to add to and assist ASAP in the development of channel partner best practices,” said Mike Leonetti, president and CEO of ASAP. “We know that 2112 will have a high impact on the ASAP community as they share their unique expertise, education, and experiences. ASAP is happy to announce that Larry Walsh, CEO of The 2112 Group, will headline and deliver a key address at the ASAP Global Alliance Summit on March 2 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. Please join Larry and ASAP at this important event.”
